Jason Michaud, Chief Technology Officer

Jason joined DirecPath in 2007, and brings more than 15 years experience designing, deploying, and managing large scale multi service IP networks within the Service Provider and Telecom space.

Beginning in 2001, Jason was CTO of Biltmore Communications, and later it’s wholly owned subsidiary PurDigital Media. Here, Jason was responsible for overseeing all aspects related to the design and implementation of large scale Metropolitan Private IP network platforms for delivery of Data, IPTV, Voice, and Wireless products to high end MDU and MTU properties in multiple Tier 1 markets thru-out the Southeastern United States.

Prior to Joining Biltmore Communications, Jason founded SENETS Broadband in 1999; an Atlanta based startup focused on delivering Broadband data services via native Ethernet infrastructures to the MDU marketplace. This business grew to over 30 communities and its assets became the basis for Biltmore Communications.

Early in his career, Jason acted as a lead consultant to clients including McKesson HBOC, and KMC Telecom where he led the design and deployment of large scale ISDN and Frame Relay networks; primarily to facilitate OSS and other interoffice communications between remote sites.
